Vacation Bible School – Rocky Point Lighthouse!

Dear Faith Formation Families & Summer guest,

Summer is just around the corner and here at Holy Family Parish we’re planning an exciting VBS adventure for your kids!! Are you looking for a safe, friendly, and fun environment for your children? Then sign-up today for Rocky Point Lighthouse!! This fun-filled vacation Bible school is for everyone between the ages of 5 & 11 or Grades K-5. The adventure begins at on Monday, July 30^th and continues through Friday August, 3^rd. Sessions run from 9:30 am to Noon each day.

Set in an exciting and fun underwater environment on our lovely cape this lively VBS program will engage your children in discovering how we can live each and every day as god’s disciples. Through Child-friendly Bible stories that emphasize discipleship, combined with fathoms of hands-on, fun-filled activities at the Rocky Point lighthouse, kids will learn that it is fun and faithful to share the Good News of Jesus’ love with everyone!!

At Rocky Point lighthouse, children will hear stories about Jesus, make cool crafts, learn catchy reef tunes, play zany games, eat yummy snacks, and make lots of new friends.

Course in the Catholic Faith

Durning Lent Fr. John, our pastor, will offer a 7-week course in the Catholic faith. This can also serve to prepare anyone age 18 or over who has not been confirmed for the Sacrament of Confirmation. All sessions run from 7-8:30pm. The schedule is as follows:

The Light is On for You -Reconcilication

During Lent the the Sacrament of Reconciliation be available in St Ann and St Joachim churches on Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8:00pm.

Evening Prayer & Benediction

Come pray with us. Deacon Kane will lead Evening Prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours every Sunday evening at 7:00 PM at St Joachim Church. This is an opportunity to spend a half hour in prayer one evening each week during Lent. God grant you an abundance of blessings during this Lenten season.

Lenten Parish Mission

The Parish will offer a Lenten Parish Mission on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday evenings, February 27, 28, & 29, beginning at 7:00 pm at St Ann Church. Fr John Capuci, pastor of St Malachy Parish in Burlington, will be the preacher. Fr. Capuci is a dynamic and outstanding speaker. Plan now to be present and invite family and friends.
