Holy Family Parish has a “twin parish” commitment to a poor parish in the Dominican Republic (Nuestra Senora del Pilar, Cevicos, DR). Our two faith communities seek to continue a relationship that fosters spiritual, cultural, medical, educational and financial goals. The Mission Group raises funds each year to support the efforts of the Dominican Sisters of Fatima to alleviate poverty and suffering in our “twin parish.” Four times a year adult and youth groups from Holy Family visits our “twin parish” (3 adult and 1 youth trip) to assess the needs of the parish and work on a project.
